RESPECT YOURSELF, RESPECT OTHERS, RESPECT THE ENVIRONMENT
LEARNING INTENTION:
Students will understand interactions within an ecosystem.
SUCCESS CRITERIA:
  • I can pull information from resources.
  • I can define the role producers, consumers and decomposers play in a food chain.
  • I can model how energy is transferred through a food chain.
WARM UP:
***START YOUR WARM UP AS SOON AS YOU GET TO CLASS. 🙂

Warm Up:  Steps of Scientific Inquiry #2 (This is in the new dark gray “Warm Up” folder in Schoology.)

SYNCH TIME (all together):
  1. Share 3-5 Photo Reveal Projects
  2. Define:  PRODUCERS, CONSUMERS, DECOMPOSERS, and FOOD CHAIN
  3. Finish (or check) e-Vocab
  4. Food Chain Practice – practice one together
ASYNCH TIME (on your own):
Finish the other food chains in “Food Chain Practice”.

ANNOUNCEMENT:                            We will be taking Science MAPS on Thursday and Friday.
