WEEK 6
LEARNING INTENTION:
I will be able to explain how ecosystems try to maintain equilibrium (balance).
SUCCESS CRITERIA:
    • I can design a food web to show the flow of energy through an ecosystem.

NOTES:
Now you are experts at food chains and you have a good understanding of the transfer of energy between organisms.  This week we will continue to explore those interconnected chains that are all tangled up into complex food webs.  We will look at what happens in a food web if it gets thrown out of balance.

As always, work at your own pace.  Assignments will be turned into Google Classroom by 6:00 p.m. on Thursday this week because there is no school on Friday.  If you have questions, please email anytime (siobhan.eubanks@adams12.org) or visit my open office hours.

*There is no school this Friday, May 8th.  Please have all Week 6 assignments complete by Thursday, May 7th.

Don’t worry if you weren’t able to log into Science World last week.  It gave lots of people trouble!  If you weren’t able to get in, you may want to try back occasionally.  🙂

For this week’s lesson, you will need to be able to log into Techbook.  If you forget how to do this, look back to slide 6 of our Week 1 Lesson.  Let me know if you have trouble.

4/8  The “reply” option on our discussion board doesn’t seem to be working the way I thought it would.  If you can reply to another student’s answer, that’s great!  If not, don’t worry about it this week.  🙂
